FIELD: experimental medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental medicine and can be used in neurosurgery, traumatology and orthopedics for modeling osseointegration of xenogenic materials and regeneration of cancellous bone tissue. The aponeurosis of the rostral half of the iliac crest is dissected. The muscles are peeled off. A marginal rectangular defect is formed in the rostral half of the iliac crest without resecting the anterior spine and the inner cortical layer. A rectangular bone-grafting material is inserted into the defect and fixed with a bone suture. The muscles and aponeurosis are sutured.
EFFECT: method allows creating an adequate model for studying osseointegration of osteoplastic materials and regeneration of spongy tissue by providing implantation of an amount of implanted material sufficient for studying, reducing the risk of graft migration, low trauma, preserving limb function for the daily activity of the animal during the experiment and eliminating damage to the implantation zone by the animals due to a set of techniques of the invention.
