DESIGN FOR SELECTIVE LOCKING OF THE TONER INLET FLAP OF THE FILLING SECTION TONER BASED ON THE ROTATION PHASE OF THE TONER FILLING CARTRIDGE Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G03G15/08

Abstract RU 2758573 C1

FIELD: printing technology.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to the field of printers in which toner is applied to a hidden electrostatic image formed on a photoconductor, with the formation of a visible toner image on a photoconductor, and the toner image is transferred using an intermediate transfer medium or directly to the print medium, and then the transferred toner image is fixed on the print medium. The printer includes a housing, a developing cartridge attached to and disconnected from the housing, and the developing cartridge is designed to supply the toner contained in the toner container to a hidden electrostatic image formed on a photoconductor, with the formation of a visible toner image, an installation part including a toner inlet section connected to the toner container, and the toner cartridge used to fill the toner into the toner container is capable of being installed on the installation part, an inlet flap, provided with the possibility of rotation in the installation part, rotated together with the toner cartridge, while the inlet flap is able to rotate between the locking position to block the toner intake section from receiving toner and the intake position to open the toner intake section for receiving toner, the locking unit for selectively locking and unlocking the inlet flap and the controller for controlling the locking unit with selectively locking and unlocking the inlet flap based on whether the toner cartridge is installed on the installation part.

EFFECT: increased protection against leakage during the replacement of the cartridge in the printer.
