FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to agents increasing the pH of the microenvironment of cells or bacteria for conducting more effective chemotherapy or antibiotic therapy. Proposed is a method for producing a nanostructured double hydroxide based on aluminium and alkaline earth metals such as magnesium with the chemical formula MgO/MG2Al(OH)7 or calcium with the chemical formula CaO/Ca2Al(OH)7, exhibiting the property of increasing the acidity of the cellular medium in the range of pH values from 8.3 to 11.5, including hydrolysis of an Al/AlN composition powder in solutions of salts of the above alkaline earth metals. The invention also relates to a nanostructured double hydroxide based on aluminium and magnesium with the chemical formula MgO/MG2Al(OH)7, to a nanostructured double hydroxide based on aluminium and calcium with the chemical formula CaO/CA2Al(OH)7, and to an application thereof as a medicinal product enhancing the antitumour activity and potentiating the effect of a chemotherapeutic preparation by changing the pH of the microenvironment of the tumour cells.
EFFECT: reduction in the concentration of the product and improved effectiveness of action thereof.
