FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to potentiating the action of antibiotics, and can be used for treating the wound of the skin and soft tissues infected with multiple-resistant bacteria. For this purpose, low-dimensional bidimentional (2D) folded aluminum oxyhydroxide structures of formula AlOOH and/or their agglomerates having specific surface area of at least 250 m2/g are used and zeta potential, measured in water at 25 °C, not less than +30 mV as a means of overcoming bacterial resistance to antibiotics. Group of inventions also relates to a method for overcoming resistance to the antibiotic with respect to both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, method of treating an infected wound patient using said structures to a combination with an antibiotic and a product containing said structures and an antibiotic in the form of a combined preparation.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables the use of low-toxic antibiotics and enables reducing the dose of the antibiotic in treating the wounds infected by multiple resistant bacteria by increasing the resistance of the resistant strains of bacteria to antibiotics.
