FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular, to a method for producing complex bimetallic parts of a steel-bronze system. The invention can be used for manufacturing such parts as nozzles, heat exchangers, short-circuited rotors of asynchronous engines, combustion chambers, chemical reactors. The method for layer-by-layer selective synthesis is used to manufacture a steel workpiece containing a monolithic main part and a mesh structure for subsequent filling with bronze, with a cell size corresponding to the diameter of the inscribed sphere of 0.1 to 3 mm. The mesh structure comprises channels communicating with one of the planes of the produced workpiece, and the volumetric content of the mesh structure in the volume intended for filling with bronze is in the range from 0.3% to 45%. The residual green steel powder is removed from the resulting workpiece, the steel workpiece is placed in a tray with a bronze charge, the tray with the workpiece is installed in a vacuum furnace or an oven with a controlled atmosphere, and impregnation is executed.
EFFECT: production of a bimetallic part with a predetermined interface between the steel and bronze parts and increase in the strength of adhesion between the bronze layer and the base are achieved.
