FIELD: powder metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of microporous metal by selective laser melting. Layer-by-layer selective fusion of metal powder is carried out using a high-energy laser beam to form a part with a mesh surface. Part is formed in the form of a volumetric metal mesh filled with powder; at that, the cell size of the mesh surface is less than the diameter of the powder particles. Produced part is annealed in protective gas or vacuum to allow diffusion welding of powder particles.

EFFECT: high rate of making microporous metal parts, zero loss of raw material, exclusion of microporosity blocking.
