FIELD: separating solids from solids.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to technological processes of mineral enrichment, in particular, to the technology for isolating fine particles from bulk materials using centrifugal forces, and can be applied, in particular, in the mining, building, metallurgical industries. The method for isolating fine particles from bulk material consists in supplying the initial bulk material into a centrifuge, the axis of rotation of the drum whereof is located horizontally or at an angle to the horizontal, wherein said material is formed in the form of a concentrated annular volume with simultaneous relative movement of particles, the drum is rotated at a speed determined by a mathematical expression. Located rigidly inside the drum, in the upper part thereof along the forming surface thereof, is a fine particle puller made in the form of a chute with a high wall and a low wall and installed so that the low wall is located first in the direction of rotation of the drum, followed by the high wall, wherein the chute itself is located closer to the axis of the drum from the inner surface thereof.
EFFECT: provided isolation of fine particles from bulk material.
