SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry, namely to an agent with antimicrobial action, and a method for its preparation. An agent with antimicrobial action against microbes selected from Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans, containing the following components, extracted from air-dried leaves of perforated trefoil in the ratio of raw materials: extractant - 1:100, using water- alcohol solution with an ethanol concentration of 40% by double extraction under reflux, with the following ratio of the extracted components, wt.%: phenols and phenol glycosides 1.87-2.0; flavonoids 7.42-7.46; 40% ethanol solution is the rest. The method for obtaining the above-described agent, including the following stages: the crushed raw material of the leaves of the perforatum perforatum was placed in a conical flask, poured with 40% ethanol, brought to a boil and kept boiling in a water bath with a reflux condenser for 20 minutes, then cooled, the alcohol extraction was separated by decantation, then another 40% ethanol was added, the extractant was brought to a boil and kept boiling in a water bath with a reflux condenser for 20 minutes, cotton-gauze filter, solid particles on the filter were squeezed out to a minimum moisture content, and the resulting extracts were combined to obtain a product.

EFFECT: above agent has an effective antimicrobial effect against microbes selected from Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans.
