SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry, namely, to a method for producing an infusion of common oak leaves. Method for producing a common oak leaf infusion with antimicrobial activity by extracting the medicinal plant-based raw materials with aqueous alcohol, wherein the leaves of common oak are infused with 70% ethyl alcohol in the "raw materials:extractant" ratio of 1:5 by fractional percolation at room temperature for 24 hours, resulting in an end product of an infusion of common oak leaves in 70% ethyl alcohol with pronounced antimicrobial activity against pathogenic clinical strains of the microorganisms Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Candida albicans, potentially applicable as an antimicrobial agent.
EFFECT: above method is characterised by an optimal technology and allows for the production of an infusion with antimicrobial activity and a high content of the sum of active substances, exhibiting a pronounced antimicrobial activity against pathogenic clinical strains of the microorganisms Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Candida albicans.
