SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to an agent based on a wild bergamot herb possessing inhibitory activity on Burkholderia strain in cystic fibrosis. An agent based on a wild bergamot herb, having inhibitory activity on the Burkholderia strain in cystic fibrosis, in the manufacture of which 70 % ethyl alcohol is used, at that, the wild bergamot herb is infused with 70 % ethyl alcohol in the ratio "raw material – extractant" 1:8 under conditions of fractional extraction – twice at room temperature for 24 hours and obtaining two extractions, and then while heating in a boiling water bath and obtaining a third extraction, which is combined with the first two.

EFFECT: agent described above possesses evident Burkholderia strain inhibition in cystic fibrosis.
