SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thin textured films deposited on a non-smooth surface, and can be used to cover working rolls for embossing, cold rolling, etc. A textured thin film applied to the surface of a substrate characterized by a relief having a predetermined number of peaks and troughs continuously passes along the entire non-smooth surface and is obtained from liquid raw materials containing solid particles having an effective diameter of no more than 5 microns fed through an additive layering device, while the textured thin coating has a maximum thickness of no more than 25 mcm, while the ratio of minimum thickness to maximum thickness is from 0.6 to 1.0.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the hardness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the surface of the product while maintaining the underlying profile of the non-smooth surface.
