SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to transfusiology, surgery and oncology, and concerns correction of anemia in the preoperative period in patients with gastric cancer. To do this, complex treatment is performed including injection of iron (III) carboxymaltosate, recombinant human erythropoietin and cyanocobalamin. Iron (III) carboxymaltosate is injected intravenously in the amount of 10 mg/kg in the 1^st, 7^th and 14^th days of the preoperative period. Erythropoietin is injected subcutaneously in the dose of 200 mg/kg, and cyanocobalamin is injected intramuscularly in the dose of 0.2 mg every other day of the preoperative period.

EFFECT: this complex treatment in the developed mode of drug injection provides for effective correction of anemia in the given group of patients with reducing transfusion load, which, in turn, contributes to a favorable course of postoperative period.
