SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in determining the likelihood of arterial hypertension (AH) in men of working age with low or moderate cardiovascular risk (CVR). In men with low and moderate CVR, based on the data of contour analysis of the pulse wave (PV), when conducting PPG “through the light” in the area of the distal phalanx of the fingers of the upper limb, the probability of the presence of hypertension is determined using a calculation formula.
EFFECT: predicting the presence of hypertension in men with low or moderate cardiovascular risk of 35 years or more, which allows to timely select the adequate therapy.
