FIELD: chemical processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing polymer-purity ethylene, including the use of a unit for after-purification of ethylene to polymerisation purity with adsorption and catalytic purification apparatuses loaded with highly efficient catalysts and adsorbents, located on the line for discharge of ethylene from the ethane and ethylene fraction separation column or from other sources at the entrance to the polymerisation assembly. The method is characterised by the fact that the after-purification unit includes consecutively installed apparatuses connected by pipeline fittings, control and measuring instrumentation, as well as heat exchange equipment. In the first apparatus, constituting a two-section adsorption apparatus, preliminary frontal purification of ethylene from resins, oligomers of ethylene, condensed moisture, sulphur compounds, H2S, RSSH, COS, CS2, heavy metals, mercury, arsines, phosphines is executed; in the second apparatus, constituting a single-layer selective hydrogenation reactor with hydrogen supply, acetylene is removed; in the third, fourth, fifth and sixth stage purification apparatuses presented in the form of adsorbers periodically switched to nitrogen- or methane-based regeneration, purification from carbon monoxide, oxygen, moisture and methanol, nitrogen- and oxygen-containing compounds, carbon dioxide is executed, accordingly, wherein ethylene is supplied from the top down, and the regeneration gas from the bottom up.
EFFECT: proposed method provides a possibility of purifying ethylene to polymerisation purity, guaranteeing complete removal of a wide range of impurities.
