FIELD: crystals growing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for growing crystals of the KDP type from solution. The method includes manufacturing a container for growing a crystal, wherein the motor is installed in the upper part of the container for growing, and the connecting rod of the crystal holder is connected to the lower end of the rotating shaft of the motor; making a crystal holder for growing a crystal, the crystal holder including an upper bar 7, a pallet 12, a connecting rod 6, side bearing rods 8, 9 and two blade-like mixing blades 10, 11; the connecting rod 6 is fixed in the center of the upper crossbar 7; the lower ends of the side support bars 8, 9 are diametrically opposed to the two ends of the pallet 12, and the upper ends of the side support bars 8, 9 are attached to the two ends of the upper crossbar 7; blade-like mixing blades 10, 11 are attached to the side bearing rods 8, 9; two blade-like mixing blades 10, 11, side bearing rods 8, 9 and the upper bar 7 are located in the same vertical plane; the center of the upper surface of the pallet 12 is where the rod-shaped seed crystal is attached; all joints are smooth to ensure smoothness; making a rod-shaped seed crystal 13 with the [001] direction in the vertical direction, while the height of the rod-shaped seed crystal 13 is less than the height of the side support rods 8, 9 of the crystal holder, and the horizontal length and the width range of the rod-shaped seed crystal 13 are 5-15 mm; placing the surface of the lower end of the rod-shaped seed crystal 13 in the center of the upper surface of the tray 12 of the crystal holder; preparation of a mother liquor for growing a crystal with a saturation point of 40 to 70°C; placing the crystal holder with the rod-shaped seed crystal 13 fixed therein into the preheating furnace for a period of 4 to 12 hours, the preheating temperature being the saturation point temperature of the mother liquor; placing the crystal holder with the rod-shaped seed crystal 13 fixed in it into the prepared mother liquor, connecting the connecting rod 6 of the crystal holder to the rotating shaft of the engine, starting the engine and setting the rotation speed range equal to 10 to 50 rpm, while the rotation mode consists of the cycle: forward rotation - 25 s, deceleration - 2 s, stop - 1 s, acceleration in the opposite direction - 2 s, reverse rotation - 25 s, deceleration - 2 s, stop - 1 s, forward acceleration - 2 with; heating the mother liquor to a temperature 5-15 °C higher than the saturation point temperature for superheating treatment, cooling so that the degree of supersaturation of the mother liquor is between 5 and 15%, thus realizing the rapid crystal growth on a rod-shaped seed crystal and obtaining a crystal of the KDP type. In the proposed method, the lower end of the rod-shaped seed crystal 13 is limited by the tray 12, and the upper end is free to grow in the form of a pyramid. At the same time, the four surfaces of the prism in the two directions [100] and [010] can grow without experiencing stress problems during crystal growth, and all cut-out optical elements have good optical properties.

EFFECT: due to the fact that the four prism faces, which are under very similar growth conditions, grow at the same time, and mixing is applied using the blade-like mixing paddles 10, 11 during the crystal growth process, the cut optics have high optical uniformity.
