FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a sheet of electrical steel having an insulating coating, variants of a method for obtaining the said sheet of electrical steel, a transformer core made of the said sheet of electrical steel, and a method for manufacturing a transformer core. An electrical steel sheet having an insulating coating contains an insulating coating located on at least one of the surfaces of an electrical steel sheet and having a relative dielectric constant value at 1000 Hz less than or equal to 15.0 and a dielectric loss tangent value at 1000 Hz less than or equal to 20.0. The insulating coating includes an insulating coating layer containing hollow ceramic particles of silicon dioxide or containing a material with low dielectric losses having a dielectric loss coefficient at 1 MHz less than or equal to 0.10.
EFFECT: sheet of electrical steel with an insulating coating is obtained, having relatively small values of the dielectric constant and the tangent of the dielectric losses, used as a material for the transformer core to reduce the dielectric losses in the transformer.
