FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: сompression-distraction apparatus for maxillofacial surgery during osteosynthesis includes a mechanism for mutual movement of bone fragments, one node of which is designed to connect with a fixed bone fragment, and the other - with a movable bone fragment, equipped with a lead screw with an adapter, and a drive. The lead screw adapter contains a hexagonal thickening made on the lead screw neck, the width of which is less than the lead screw end diameter. The drive consists of a pair of parts - a flexible roller and a flexible outer tube put on it. The flexible roller has a tube with a flexible part, to the ends of which a cylindrical rod with a thickening of a hexagonal shape for installing a socket wrench is attached and a housing with a screw thread on the outer surface, in which a liner connected to the housing with a hexagonal recess in plan contact with the thickening is located hexagon shape at the end of the lead screw. The housing has a pair of spring elements with the ability to diverge to the sides when gripping the hexagonal thickening at the end of the lead screw at the moment of attaching the flexible roller to it. The flexible outer tube contains a central part with a flexible section, to the ends of which a sleeve with a hexagonal section for mounting a socket wrench and a hollow head with a section with a screw thread on the inner surface, made with the possibility of screwing a section with a screw thread on the outer surface of the body, are connected flexible roller and with the ability to stop at the end of the lead screw. Lead screw adapter and actuator are made of high strength cobalt-chromium-nickel alloy.
EFFECT: invention provides a decrease in trauma, in particular, when carrying out compression-distraction osteosynthesis in maxillofacial surgery, expanding the range of medical devices for this purpose.
