FIELD: power generation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power mechanisms, namely, to a wind and water power unit. The unit comprises a base 1, a lower and an upper crosspieces 5 and 7, inclined platforms 14, a bearing body 2 rigidly installed on the base 1, wherein a shaft 3 is installed on the bearings, passing through the platform 14, located in the grooves whereof are at least two blades 19 limited by stops 24, located at different heights and with an angular misalignment at an angle of 90°. The blades 19 are configured to be lowered down and installed perpendicular to the movement of the flow of water or wind, working on part of the trajectory like a sail. The unit is equipped with central inclined crosspieces 13 installed on the crosspiece 5, configured to be adjusted, rigidly fixed whereon are platforms 14, wherein the shaft 3 passes through said platforms, and frames 16, located wherein are blades 19 moving along the frame 16 on rollers 15. The frames 16 with blades 19 are configured to roll on semi-axes. The blades 19 are configured to turn on the platform 14 and be lowered down the frames 16.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the efficiency of using the power of wind or water flow.
