SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agrochemistry, and in particular to a method for detoxifying herbicide residues in soils. The soil detoxification method provides for the exposure of soils contaminated with sulfonylurea herbicides before sowing with natural zeolite at a dose of 100-250 kg / ha. Sod-podzolic soils are subjected to detoxification. A zeolite based on clinoptilolite grade TsPS can be used as a natural zeolite.

EFFECT: proposed method for soil detoxification allows neutralizing the phytotoxic effect of sulfonylurea herbicides and to stimulate growth and intensive development of plants.
