SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, specifically to the use as antidotes of herbicides of substituted sydnonymines of general formula I, where R denotes a linear or branched alkyl or alkoxyalkyl group containing from 1 to 5 carbon atoms; R1 denotes a phenyl group or a substituted phenyl group, R2 denotes H or tert-butoxycarbonyl group, or their salts, for example, hydrochlorides. The mentioned sydnonymines I are effective herbicide antidotes of the sulfonylurea class when used in ultra-small doses (from 0.25 to 1.0 g/ton of seeds) for pre-sowing seed treatment. The invention reduces or eliminates the toxic effects of herbicides on the growth and development of plants, which can be used in crop production when growing grain crops.

EFFECT: creation of new herbicide antidotes capable of reducing or completely eliminating the negative effect of herbicides, and expanding the range of herbicide antidotes effective when used in ultra-small doses.
