FIELD: polymers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the polymer industry, specifically, to the olefin polymerisation processes occurring on Ziegler-Natta catalytic systems based on a solid Ti-Mg component in the presence of organoaluminium compounds. Described is a method for maintaining the catalytic activity of a titanium-magnesium component in the olefin (co)polymerisation processes, including supplying a Ziegler-Natta catalyst, an organoaluminium co-catalyst and a chlorine-containing hydrocarbon to the process, characterised by the fact that when supplying to the polymerisation process, a hydrocarbon with a content of carbon atoms of 6 and higher and with a content of chlorine atoms of 3 to 6 is used as a chlorine-containing hydrocarbon, selected from the group consisting of trichlorotoluene, hexachlorparaxylene or mixtures thereof, wherein the chlorine-containing hydrocarbon is introduced into the polymerisation process in the same solvent as the titanium-magnesium component, at the molar ratio of the chlorine-containing compound (by Cl) : titanium=0.1÷10:1.
EFFECT: development of an efficient method for maintaining the activity of a catalytic system based on a solid titanium-magnesium component in the processes of olefin (co)polymerisation.
