FIELD: studying technique.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technique for studying the sound fields of wheeled vehicles performed in an acoustic semi-anechoic chamber with a hard sound-reflecting floor. The test acoustic stand, installed in a semi-anechoic test chamber, contains running drums with drive units and control systems for speed and load modes of the stand. The stand is equipped with a laser vehicle centering device made in the form of a laser centering module and a guiding element. The laser diode of the module is installed in a plane passing through the longitudinal symmetry axis of the anechoic chamber and perpendicular to its floor. The guide element contains a horizontal support bar and a centering arrow perpendicular to the support bar, which has the ability to move oriented along the surface of the support bar. The support bar is mounted between the windshield washer nozzles of the vehicle under study, installed on the running drums, the distance between the center of the centering arrow base and the opposite nozzles is equal, and the luminous beam of the laser diode is directed in the direction of the centering arrow.
EFFECT: objective of the invention is to create a high-precision installation of the vehicle under study at the stand.
