SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely, to rod-based finger, hand and forearm prostheses. The hand and forearm prostheses comprise at least three fingers, wherein one of the fingers is opposed to the rest of the fingers. The rod-based finger prosthesis consists of a rigid base, a lower phalanx, an upper phalanx, a movable unit, a rod, a rocker arm and an elastic element intended for extension of the finger. One end of the lower phalanx is connected with the rigid base so that the lower phalanx is rotatable around the transverse axis relative to the tigid base, and the other end is connected with the upper phalanx. The axis of the movable unit is fixed on the lower phalanx. One end of the rod is fixed on the rigid base. The rod bends around the movable unit so that the tension on the other end of the rod leads to rotation of the lower phalanx relative to the rigid base. The rocker arm connects the rigid base with the upper phalanx and the elastic element so that the fixed base, the lower phalanx, the upper phalanx and the rocker arm form a four-bar linkage mechanism.

EFFECT: possibility of hidden placement of the rods in the structure of the prosthesis for protection thereof from mechanical damage, contamination and wear, reduction of losses from sliding friction between the rods and the parts of the prosthesis is achieved, wherein overbending of the rods in the opposite directions is excluded.
