SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to a device for skin care by creating microcurrents for skin treatment and to a method for its manufacture. The device contains substrate and separate galvanic pairs provided on it. Each galvanic pair contains the first conductive electrode - an anode, and the second conductive electrode - a cathode. The anode of each galvanic pair contains the first metal, and the cathode contains the second metal other than the first one. The first and the second metals have different normal potentials. Galvanic pairs contain an anode having a node of the lower layer connected to substrate and containing the second metal, and the upper layer connected to the lower layer and containing the first metal. The surface area of the upper layer exceeds the surface area of the lower layer for full coverage and embracing of the lower layer. An improved system of topical application is provided, in which a means for topical application of a cosmetic product has such a shape as to provide microcurrents in selected areas of the skin, due to equipping with galvanic pairs containing electrodes made so that during the application of the device they communicate with each other on substrate. The use of a set of galvanic pairs on substrate provides the possibility of a predetermined and controlled distribution of numerous positive and negative poles in the treatment area and, consequently, a predetermined and controlled distribution of electricity in tissue during treatment.
