SUBSTANCE: system for making beverages (1) from disposable capsules is described; the system contains capsule (3) containing bowl-shaped container (4) with flange (6), and brewing unit (2) containing pressurized water injection unit (7) and beverage extraction unit (8) movable from a closed configuration and into a closed configuration, in which injection and extraction units form a brewing chamber for capsule (3); injection unit (7) contains cup (27), which is located with its free edge (32) to extraction unit (8), and which can move between a non-working rear position and a working front position, in which it accommodates capsule (3), and its free edge (32) engages with flange (6); extraction unit (8) contains hydraulic cylinder (15) containing piston (17), moved between a normal reverse position and an extended position, in which, when cup (27) is in the front position, a head presses flange (6) in the axial direction to free edge (32) of cup (27) to ensure a fluid-impermeable connection between flange (6) and free edge (32); free edge (32) is designed to engage with flange (6) only along the annular head, located next to outer peripheral edge (38) of flange (6).
EFFECT: preventing the partial release of pressurized water supplied to the bowl-shaped case, and subsequently ensuring that the pressure inside the bowl-shaped case reaches a value necessary for the forced rupture of the sealing sheet on protruding elements.
