SUBSTANCE: system comprising brewing device (1) and disposable tablet (2); wherein disposable tablet (2) comprises a casing made of two sheets of plastic or aluminium, or paper, connected to each other to form central body (3) containing brewed material, and outer annular flange (4) extending along the entire perimeter, and sealing central body (3); brewing device (1) comprises: two functional units (7, 8) defining corresponding brewing semi-chambers (20, 19) and mutually movable along longitudinal axis (6) between an open configuration, in which they mutually form a tablet loading area (3), and a closed configuration, in which two brewing half-chambers (20, 19) mutually form a brewing chamber for tablet (3), one of said functional units (7, 8) is a water injection unit, and the other is a beverage extraction unit; and tablet support device (37) rotatable about fixed axis (39), transverse to longitudinal axis (6), for movement between the tablet holding position, in which the tablet support device (37) is configured to receive tablet (2) and maintaining tablet (2) independently in loading position between two functional units (7, 8) in said open configuration, and a disengagement position in which the tablet support device (37) is moved towards functional units (7, 8) after tablet (2) is fed into functional units (7, 8); wherein the path of the tablet support device (37) from the tablet holding position to the disengagement position during rotation around fixed axis (39) is made so as to force the tablet support device (37) to insert and leave tablet (2) in brewing semi-chamber (20; 19) of one of said functional units (7; 8).

EFFECT: purpose of the present invention is to improve the brewing device so that it can also be used with tablets having a central body and an annular flange.
