SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment on motor cars. The motor car of a high-speed train, in particular, of a passenger train, comprises a body and at least one traction engine. The body therein comprises a roof and a floor, wherein located under said floor are a traction motor, a rheostatic brake, a first ventilation apparatus for the rheostatic brake, electrical equipment for controlling the traction engine, and a second ventilation apparatus for the electrical equipment. The first ventilation apparatus therein comprises a first air intake casing formed by a closed pipe between the inlet and the outlet. Said inlet and outlet are therein located at the level of the first and second air intake holes located on the roof of the body, respectively. The second ventilation apparatus comprises a second air intake casing formed by a closed pipe between the inlet and outlet, wherein said inlet and outlet are located at the level of the third air intake hole located on the roof of the body and the fourth air intake hole located under the floor of the body, respectively. Each of the ventilation apparatuses therein comprises an electric fan located between the inlet and outlet.

EFFECT: improved cooling of the electrical equipment.
