SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to current collectors for vehicles. The current collector for diverting the electrical power from a contact line to an electrically driven vehicle comprises a sliding element containing a carrier and a carbon insert located on the carrier. An attachment point is therein made between the sliding element and the current collector for securing the sliding element on the current collector. A fastening apparatus is therein located at each attachment point on the side of the sliding element, and a receiving tool for this fastening apparatus is located on the side of the current collector. Each fastening apparatus and receiving tool associated therewith are therein detachably engaged with each other. The carrier comprises a pneumatic channel for indicating the state of compressed air. The fastening apparatus and the receiving tool associated therewith comprise communicating through holes forming a through passage hole for transmitting compressed air from the current collector to the pneumatic channel in the carrier. Also claimed is an electrically driven vehicle, in particular, a rail vehicle containing the current collector.
