FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sensor devices signaling the degree of wear of current collector contacts parts of electrically-driven vehicles. The proposed device incorporates contact elements, a metal frame and a control unit. The metal frame communicates with the control unit via signal generation medium and signal transmission medium. The said contact elements have recesses with inlet holes communicating, via transmission channels, with the control unit. The said recesses and channels house a pressurised fluid or gaseous medium. Note that with as the recesses open, the volume of out flowing medium increases.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of contact element sensor devices.
