FIELD: sewage water purifying.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for purifying sewage waters from phenols and hydroxy derivatives of phenols by hydrothermal oxidation of solutions in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. The method is characterized in that the cleaning is carried out in a flow-through reactor at an operating pressure of 10 MPa and temperatures of 165-235°C, solutions and an oxidizer with a molar ratio of Н2О2:phenol derivatives of at least 13 are pumped through the working zone of the reactor in an upward flow using metering pumps, mixing solutions takes place in the lower part of the reactor in the heating zone.
EFFECT: use of the proposed method makes it possible to simplify the purification method and reduce the cost of its implementation due to the absence of an additional catalyst, to reduce the reaction time and, consequently, to increase the purification performance (the volume of the purified solution per unit time).
