FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a machine for punching electrolyte crust in aluminum electrolyzer. The machine contains a self-propelled wheeled trolley with an arrow mounted on it, with a crust punching mechanism in form of a hinged multi-link. A crank mechanism is cantilevered on the boom axis. At one end of the crust punching mechanism through bearings, a drive shaft with drive pulleys is installed with possibility of transmitting torque from a hydraulic motor mounted on boom body through V-belts by means of belt drive to driven pulleys mounted at the other end of the mechanism. The crust punching mechanism is equipped with a centralized lubrication system.
EFFECT: simplification of design and increase in reliability is provided.
