FIELD: means for mechanization of electrolysis production of aluminum. SUBSTANCE: gear includes self-propelled car with vertical frame and boom mounted on it for raising and lowering and breaking fixture. Frame is mounted on one side of car and boom is put on frame and can be moved forward by means of rotary rods. Centers of rotation of the latter are displaced in upper part with regard to each other along vertical. Breaking fixture is manufactured in the form of spring vibrating hammer placed on free end of boom. Vibrating hammer has vibration exciter positioned on free end of spring-loaded rotary beam, hydraulic motor and drill pick. In agreement with another version of gear vibrating hammer includes vibration exciter with two shafts carrying unbalanced masses placed asymmetrically and connection units composed of guiding rods, springs, bushings and stopper. EFFECT: increased efficiency of breaking electrolyte crust in areas of electrolyzer difficult of access. 2 cl, 5 dwg
