SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mining and can be used for ventilation of deep quarries in a harsh climate, characterized by a significant amplitude of daily and weekly temperature fluctuations. The method includes opening a quarry with a system of underground mine workings and organizing air exchange between the opencast and atmospheric air by supplying fresh air through these workings and its subsequent distribution over the volume of the quarry space through flexible pipelines due to the operation of fans on the surface. Flexible pipelines are suspended on ropes that connect opposite non-working sides of the open pit and are fixed on the slopes of the benches in horizontal planes along the depth of the open pit, the length of the flexible pipeline is counted from the point of its connection with the supply pipeline, which is determined by the location of the local zone of negative temperature inversion, and the flexible pipeline itself assembled from separate parts, which are attached to each other using lightning joints. Moving the flexible pipeline along the ropes is carried out due to the ropes attached to its end with the help of winches, which are installed on opposite sides of the open pit in the plane of the location of the flexible pipeline; site, and connect it through the crossholes with the inclined shaft, and the targeted air supply to the area of the quarry space with negative temperature inversion is carried out using jumpers and gates.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of ventilation of the quarry space during the formation of zones with negative temperature inversion, where pollutants can accumulate.
