FIELD: image processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to head-mounted displays. A device for content delivery and display comprises image delivery system (10) of the head-mounted display HMD device (1) of the head-mounted display and includes: one or more displays (3); one or more sensors (4,5,6) for determining the movement, position and orientation of the display, and one or more image input devices capable of receiving image data for direct display on one or more displays without image processing by HMD from the image delivery system. The image delivery system is made with the possibility to transmit a stereoscopic image to the HMD device for providing image information to a user and contains: one or more input devices to receive sensor data from sensors; one or more image input devices (100) made with the possibility to receive pre-processed image data for direct display of a field of view on one or more displays without image processing by means of the image delivery system, wherein the delivery system receives, when used, pre-processed image data of the field of view and additionally receives, when used, additional pre-processed image data for images outside the field of view not yet displayed on the display; and one or more image output devices to deliver image data for direct display on one or more field of view displays without image processing by means of the HMD system.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce delays in image visualization and increase the throughput of the system.
