FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely, to chemical and heat treatment, in particular, to combined processes of metallisation with nitriding of steel. The method for treatment of products made of construction alloy steel includes placing the products in the chamber of a sealed vacuum unit, heating and subjecting to isothermal holding in a nitrogen-containing gaseous medium in a glow discharge plasma. The isothermal holding is executed in the temperature range T = 750 to 850°C for 30 to 60 minutes, and cooling is executed after isothermal holding. Said heating, isothermal holding and cooling of the products are executed in an atmosphere of ammonia NH3, and then metallisation is executed by magnetron sputtering of chromium and nickel vapours on the nitrided surface of the products in a protective atmosphere of carbon dioxide CO2, forming a condensed metal layer.
EFFECT: increase in the corrosion resistance of products is provided with reduction in the treatment time due to the reduction in the amount of preparatory process operations.
