CLOCK WITH AUTOMATIC DEVICE REPRODUCING FLAPPING OF WINGS Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G04B25/06 G04B47/04

Abstract RU 2760420 C2

FIELD: clockwork mechanisms.

SUBSTANCE: object of the invention is a clock containing clock face (2) determining a plane XY, automatic device (6) located above clock face (2) and containing at least one first element (8) and one second element (10) pivotally connected to each other to provide their flapping movement, and a drive mechanism of the specified automatic device. First element (8) is made with the possibility of turning around the first axis that is not parallel to the plane XY, and second element (10) is made with the possibility of turning around the second axis, different from the first axis. The drive mechanism of automatic device (6) contains drive means for first and second elements (8, 10) serving to provide asymmetrical turning specified first and second elements (8, 10), respectively, and to coordinate the specified turning of specified first and second elements (8, 10) in such a way that their combination creates an effect of flapping specified first and second elements (8, 10).

EFFECT: technical solution allows increasing the compactness of the device and increasing the efficiency of its operation.
