SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of analytical chemistry of antimony ions and is aimed at developing a voltammetric method for determining antimony ions in aqueous solutions. In the claimed method for determining antimony ions, a negative potential of stibnine accumulation at -900 mV for 60 to 180 s and a potential sweep in the anodic direction from -600 mV to +600 mV at a rate of 60 to 120 mV/s are set, and an analytical signal is recorded in the alternating current voltammetry mode using a voltammetric analyser, in the form of a peak with a maximum of limiting diffusion current of oxidation of elemental antimony to an oxide thereof at potentials of +50…+200 mV relative to a silver chloride comparison electrode and a platinum auxiliary electrode.
EFFECT: increase in the safety due to the use of an electrode without a mercury film.
