FIELD: rubbers production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing styrene-butadiene rubbers by emulsion (co)polymerization. The method includes copolymerizing butadiene with styrene in an emulsion in the presence of radical initiators, stopping the process, degassing, introducing an antioxidant and isolating rubber from latex by coagulation. Nonionic polyacrylamide is used as a coagulating agent in the temperature range 0-20°С.
EFFECT: proposed method for producing styrene-butadiene rubber allows to stabilize the coagulation process, reduce environmental pollution, reduce the consumption of the coagulating agent, reduce the cost of the resulting product, reduce water consumption and create a closed technological cycle.
