FIELD: rubbers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of styrene-butadiene rubbers through copolymerisation of butadiene with styrene in an emulsion in the presence of radical initiators, application of a stopper in the process, degassing, introduction of an antioxidant, and extraction of rubber from latex by coagulation. Cationic surface-active substances are used as a coagulating agent.
EFFECT: stabilisation of the process of extracting rubber from latex, reduced environmental pollution by emulsion copolymerisation rubber production products, reduced coagulating agent consumption, lowered cost of the produced rubber, and creation of a closed process cycle.
