SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of veterinary medicine, in particular, to prevention and treatment of feline and canine diseases caused by ectoparasites. The invention constitutes a veterinary composition for treatment and prevention of parasitic diseases in cats and dogs, characterised by containing an insecticide of the phenylpyrazole group - fipronil, a synthetic pyrethroid - cyfluthrin, an arthropod enzyme inhibitor - piperonyl butoxide, an inhibitor of chitin synthesis - diflubenzuron, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, at the following ratio of ingredients, mg/ml: insecticide of the phenylpyrazole group - 80.0 to 180.0, synthetic pyrethroid - 1.0 to 7.0, arthropod enzyme inhibitor - 0.1 to 1.5, chitin synthesis inhibitor - 0.6 to 1.5, pharmaceutically acceptable carrier up to 1 ml.

EFFECT: composition is safe, has a wide spectrum of activity, protecting dogs and cats from larval and sexually mature phases of development of fleas, lice, trichodectidae, cheiletiella, ixodic and sarcoptic mites, as well as from flying blood-sucking insects: flies, mosquitoes, blackflies, sandflies.
