FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment, in particular, for monitoring magnetic fields. The method for visualising the magnetic field of annular permanent magnets includes the stages wherein a stable nanodisperse magnetic fluid is used as a sensing element, poured into a Hele-Shaw cell, layer-by-layer scanning is conducted with computer processing of the resulting images, followed by constructing closed contours of the module of the intensity of the magnetic field of annular permanent magnets, wherein, depending on the parameters of the studied magnet, magnetic fluids with different concentration of the magnetic phase are selected as a sensing element.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determining the distribution of the intensity of a highly non-homogeneous magnetic field with a high spatial resolution.
