FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to means of magnetic resonance imaging. MRI comprises main coil placed in magnet cavity, capable to operate as transmitting or receiving-transmitting one, receiving coil and additional coil located near investigated object, capable to operate as transmitting or receiving-transmitting one, or shorted at ends, system of coils’ switching, including switch, automatic switch, adder and selector and receiver and transmitter. Main and additional coils are connected via appropriate cables to switch connected via automatic switch with transmitter and made with possibility of disconnection of main coil with simultaneous connection of additional coil. Receiving coil is connected to one input of adder, other input of which is connected to automatic switch with possibility of obtaining signal from additional coil via switch, while adder output is connected to selector input, having three positions – first position for connection with automatic switch of main coil connection in receiving mode, second position for connection of adder, third position for connecting receiving coil, selector output is connected to receiver.
EFFECT: invention usage allows to reduce and optimize distribution of power for excitation of NMR signal.
