FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: use for visualization of conductors of a coil used in MRI. Substance of the invention consists in the fact that the coil is immersed into the container with the imaging medium, the container with the coil is placed in the MR-tomograph, the coil is connected to the transceiving path of the MR-tomograph, conducting MR-scanning of the area containing the analysed coil, with the MRI images recording, localization of the coil conductors on the MRI images by detecting on them sections of the hyperintense signal from the nuclei included in the atoms contained in the imaging medium, on a homogeneous background from a moderately pronounced signal in the sensitivity zone of the coil, segmentation of sections of the hyperintense signal, which characterize the presence of coil conductors and visualization of the conductors based on reconstructions of MR-images.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of obtaining a three-dimensional image displaying the distribution of conductors in a coil used for MRI.
