SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a crusher belt tensioning apparatus and a mobile crushing unit with such an apparatus, which can be used to crush various materials. Crusher belt tensioning apparatus comprises a crusher pulley and a drive pulley connected by a belt, a base frame mountable at a chassis frame of the crusher unit and a tension pulley mounted at the base frame. Swing arm is pivotally mounted at the base frame via a first region of the swing arm, and a tension pulley is mounted at a second region of the swing arm. Actuator is also positioned at the base frame to act between the base frame and the swing arm to control the position of the swing arm and the tension pulley relative to the base frame. Actuator has a first end attached to the base frame and a second end attached to the swing arm.

EFFECT: mobile crushing unit comprises an undercarriage configured to allow the mobile crushing unit to move in contact with the ground, a chassis frame to mount the undercarriage and a motor driven crusher mounted at the chassis frame, comprising said belt tensioning apparatus.
