FIELD: electrical networks.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automation of electrical networks. According to the method, current surges in the power transmission line are monitored, the current in the line outgoing from the transformer substation is monitored, the operating current surges in this outgoing line are recorded, the value of the inrush current recorded in this line is compared with the current value corresponding to the load current of the first network section, and after a time interval, in the same line, an inrush current corresponding to the value of the load current of the second section of the network. If the inrush current with a value corresponding to the value of the load current of the second section of the network is not recorded, then it is concluded that the power of the generation source will decrease and disconnect it from the first section of the network. If the inrush current, corresponding to the value of the load current of the second section of the network, is recorded after a time interval corresponding to the time delay of the automatic transfer switch on, it is concluded that the generation source is simultaneously disconnected from the entire load. If the inrush current, corresponding to the value of the load current of the second section of the network, is recorded after a longer time interval than the time delay of the automatic switch-on of the reserve, it is concluded that at first there was a decrease in the power of the generation source, and later it was disconnected from the entire load.
EFFECT: receiving, by means of remote control, information on power reduction and disconnection of the generation source.
