SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automation of electrical networks. In the proposed method for remote channel-free monitoring of power reduction and disconnection of a generation source connected to an electrical network powered by a single-transformer substation, consisting in monitoring current surges at a single-transformer substation and measuring the time interval between them, current and voltage are monitored in a line departing from the single-transformer substation that has an electrical connection with the network section to which the generation source is connected, an increase in operating current and a decrease in voltage in the outgoing line are recorded, having an electrical connection with the section of the network to which the generation source is connected, the value of the current increase and voltage decrease recorded in this line are compared with the values of the current corresponding to the load current of the first section of the network and the voltage value corresponding to the operating voltage of the first section of the network powered in normal mode from the generation source, after a time interval, in the same line, the current increase is fixed corresponding to the value of the load current increase of the second section of the network powered in normal mode from the generation source, based on the data obtained, conclusion is made about the state of the generation source, and this information is transmitted to the dispatcher and displayed by means of display.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of remote control of the operation of the generation source.
