SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automatics of electrical networks. The expected result is achieved by the fact that in the method for remote channel-free monitoring of the operation of the generation source, the current and voltage in the lines departing from different buses of a two-transformer substation having electrical connections with the network section to which the generation source is connected are monitored, an increase in the operating current and a decrease in voltage in the outgoing lines having electrical connections with the network section to which the generation source is connected are recorded, the values of current and voltage recorded in one of the controlled outgoing lines are compared with the current value, corresponding to the load current of the first section of the network, and the value of the voltage corresponding to the operating voltage of the first section of the network, powered in normal mode from the generation source, after a time interval, in the same controlled line, an increase in current is fixed corresponding to the value of the increase in the load current of the second section of the network, and a decrease in voltage caused by the connection of the load of the second section of the network, powered in normal mode from the generation source, based on the data obtained, a conclusion is made about the state of the generation source, and this information is transmitted to the dispatcher and displayed by means of display.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of control of power reduction and shutdown of the generation source.
