SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. The invention is a method for breeding egg crosses of chickens, including individual accounting for egg production, characterized in that the intensity of egg-laying for the entire productive period, the number of egg-laying series, intervals between them, their duration and the cycle index of egg-laying at the age of 500 days of life are taken into account, which is determined by the formula F = egg production/n, where F is the index of the cyclicality of egg-laying, n is the number of intervals over a period of time, then the hens are ranked according to it, while if the egg-laying index in laying hens is in the range of 6.33-43, then they are classified as highly productive, if within 0 , 91-4.33, then to low-productive.
EFFECT: invention improves the accuracy of selection of breeding qualities of laying hens during the productive period.
