FIELD: biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. Method provides for the maintenance of hens of egg breeds at the age of 160 days in individual cells of batteries, around the clock recording of the egg laying time for 3 days with the subsequent taking of eggs and taking into account of their mass from the time of the light switching on in the poultry house. Taking of eggs is carried out according to the time of daily egg laying in the interval not exceeding 30 minutes during 3 days. At that, if the time of egg laying does not exceed 30 minutes in comparison with the previous egg, then hens are referred to productive layers.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the predicting accuracy of the egg production in hens.
