SUBSTANCE: system for assessing the ablation site for obtaining the ablation information by processing and analysis of the intracardiac electrode signal from the ablation site comprises: a signal processing module configured to process the intracardiac electrode signal and generate a signal profile; a signal analysis module containing blocks for determining, calculating the baseline and comparing of the waveform, wherein the baseline calculating block is configured to generate a baseline for the signal profile, calculate the ratio of the signal profile and return said ratio to the determining block, and the block for comparing the waveform is configured to obtain the result of the waveform comparison by comparing the signal profile with the ablation template associated with the ablation site and return said result of the waveform comparison to the determining block, and the determining block is configured to determine, based on the ratio and/or the result of waveform comparison, and to output the ablation information indicating whether complete ablation has been achieved.

EFFECT: ensured higher frequency of successful attempts and increased safety of radio frequency ablation procedures on the heart.
